  • You don't have to worry if you prepare. What are your weather people telling you? Do you have insurance? Last I checked you weren't on the path. Down here we'll get some wind, rain, and possibly some tornados today, so I took my plants off the balcony and made sure the greenhouse was anchored down. Are you taking your anxiety meds as prescribed? Be sure to discuss this with your doctor. Your meds may need adjusting. How do you manage your anxiety? Meditation? Prayer? An herbal tea? A bath? In any case surely you've been through strong winds before and you made it through just fine, so don't worry.

  • Unless you are on the coast, you relay have nothing to worry about. Why would you? Philadelphia's going to get some remnants, with some heavy rains and perhaps some flooding, but if you're inland, you have nothing to worry about. I lived in both Philly and New Jersey. We never had any really major problems even there. Strong winds and rain aren't likely to harm you. PA's a big state. Most of what happens in one part of it doesn't affect the rest.

  • Get a grip on reality - before it reaches Pennsylvania (if it ever does) it will be broken up by terrain. Hurricanes feed on heavy moisture from the ocean and gulf - there's nothing even close to that between Louisiana and Pennsylvania.
