  • Need more info. LOTS more info. What are you trying to do with the TV-to-computer connection? Please explain. FOR EXAMPLE: you might want to display your computer screen on several separate "box TVs" at the same time. FOR EXAMPLE: you might want to RECORD what is playing on the "box TVs" using your computer. etc.

I’m want to use several box TVs at once for a photoshoot/music video. I’d like my laptop or something to be able to play something onto the box TVs. So I’m looking for something I can hookup multiple av inputs but somehow come out with an hdmi or something that can go into my MacBook. I’m just trying to figure out how I’m gonna do it and I haven’t messed with old TVs in such a long time

OK, so your OUTPUTTING video from the computer to the TVs. Apparently these are CRT TVs. It sounds like your only audio/video output from your computer is HDMI. You will want something like an HDMI to TV-signal converter. What EXACTLY you need depends on what inputs are available on your CRT TVs. FOR EXAMPLE: if the only input the TVs have is antenna, then you will want an HDMI to antenna converter. IF you have RCA video and audio inputs on the CRT TVs (red, green and yellow, if I remember correctly), then you will want an HDMI to component video converter. IN ANY CASE, the signal coming out of the converter box apparently needs to be connected to all of the TVs, and depending on what type of signal that is you might need an amplifier or repeater so that the signal is strong enough to feed all of the TVs at the same time.
