  • I can remember going outside on many days and smell the coke works of Clairton Mill down in Clairton Pa , Wow the smell is unbelievable
  • A lot of cities around the world have high pollution. These may be connected with local factory emissions or other factors. Obviously they are not healthy places to live, and every effort must be made to reduce pollution and improve air quality.

  • Hmmm...not here...[[https://www.forbes.com/sites/niallmccarthy/2021/04/22/the-most-polluted-cities-in-america-infographic/?sh=3b5c89db6fae]] or here [[https://www.statista.com/statistics/1137409/most-polluted-regional-cities-in-the-united-states/]] Ahhh...here we go...[[https://worldpopulationreview.com/us-city-rankings/most-polluted-cities-in-the-us]] I'm just guessing now, but it looks like Sacramento might be located in "Coal Country"...and it might be coal mining (coal dust) that pollutes the city. Another possibility is that it might be a locale where there is a very high radon content in the air.
