Why do people turn to dislike their job?

Have you never worked before? Its usually the idiots I have to work with, or for, that cause me to want to quit! One woman accused me of throwing dishes "at her" because they were piling dishes up in the sink and I 'energetically' moved them out of the way so I could wash mine (like we were supposed to). I assured her my aim is not that d**n bad! If I was throwing them 'at her' I'd have hit her with them!! A former co-worker told me she got fired for throwing grits at a customer. I asked why. She was such a nice person! I couldn't believe it! She said the customer threw eggs at her first! It's not easy dealing with drunks!

I think there often is a big difference between you expectations on a job before and the reality: Unsympathetic collegues or bosses, boring standard tasks every day, much more stress...
