    I don't think anyone should be paid anything if their family member is injured or killed while committing a crime!! I'm glad I'll be dead soon! This world is getting too crazy for me!

    No amount of money would serve as an ample substitute for a loved one lost forever. The best outcome of this would be to see that police start protecting people instead of casually strangling them in the middle of the street. I know your hard right wingers will say stuff like "but he was on drugs" or "but he tried to commit fraud." I don't care if he had just committed every non-violent crime on the books, there's no reason to choke him. Period.
