    I heard someone describe it as "speaking like a mob boss" and I thought that was very fitting. He was threatening and asking for illegal favors while just barely avoiding saying anything incriminating

    I don't think it's illegal, although I do think it's morally deplorable. Some congresspeople are talking about impeaching him again. If extorting a foreign leader to spread false rumours in order to affect the outcome of an election is not illegal, then arguing with a SoS in your own country to try to talk him into changing the outcome of an election shouldn't be. Actually, if the President can do the former without any legal ramifications, then why bother holding him to any standards anyway? Why not just let him incite a riot on Capitol Hill that leads to people getting shot and bombs going off? Who cares, anyway, he's the President, and, evidently, according to the GOP, the president can do whatever the hell he wants to do without ever facing any negative consequences at all. [This is me being facetious.]

      How different is that from what antifa did, or blm, or the black panthers or the kkk for that matter? Its deplorable no matter who does it. But at least they did it for something they think matters, not just because they wanted to steal tv's and destroy businesses and personal residences. If its wrong its wrong no matter who does it.
