Who knows? Lou Reed had an old song called "Halloween Parade," but I don't think the two are related. Pinkfong doesn't credit whoever writes their songs. They had a huge hit with "Baby Shark" years ago, but they just ripped that song off from other internet videos, thinking that it was traditional or whatever. If you are interested, there's actually a really interesting history to that song (which was not traditional), and pinkfong wasn't even the first internet video to go viral from ripping off the song from the original creator. Johnny Only went viral with it a decade before, and Alexandra Mueller a couple years after that with a version in the German language ("Kleiner Hai"), yet the owners of Pinkfong have made claims in Korean court that they wrote the song in 2010. Maybe four different people independently came up with the lyrics "Baby Shark doo doo doo doo..." and then repeating with various other sharks gradually increasing in size each verse, but I, for one, am extremely skeptical.
