  • This is silly. Medical researchers have already known since March the answer to this question. Why bother speculating over something we already know?! There were several cases in the early days of the pandemic of people being reinfected as little as two weeks after recovery. China knew this when the virus was still in Wuhan, and they refused to acknowledge it. If there ends up being a traditional vaccine, it won't work because of this. That's why several companies are looking into novel vaccines that will mutate the body's immune system to produce a steady stream of non-pathogenic antigens. The current treatment of injecting antibodies into a patient might be the best treatment we currently have, but it's no more effective than any traditional vaccine will ever be as a prophylactic.
