Trump can't do anything that is not approved by YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS so stop blaming him for everything. No one did that to Obama. If you're going to blame him for everything then you have to give him credit for giving everyone $1200.

bostjan the adequate 🥉 While I somewhat agree, the statement is not 100% correct. The President can enact just about anything through executive order, including things that affect the federal budget, but he cannot legislate nor can he levy taxes. As for "No one did that to Obama," I don't know what you are saying, but, quite clearly, some people drew the same judgement on Obama, and it wasn't undeserved, since Obama promised such things during the election, then claimed to lack the political power to actually do anything afterward. Maybe you meant a more general, "People weren't this harsh toward Obama," or whatever, I don't know. -
Linda Joy Thank you. Why didn't you answer the question? Do you think the question is 100% correct? Just FYI I don't think I'm ever 100% correct so that goes without saying. Thank you for giving us the details though I don't know why you chose to do so as a comment instead of an answer. When I said no one did that to obama I meant the phrase just in front of it that says " so stop blaming him for everything." And yes, you do know! -

Are you trying to say increase social security tax on the middle class? Because the middle class doesn't RECEIVE social security benefits. And social security benefits are not taxed.
