What does it take to start skip tracing in Michigan?
Id like to know where to start. I have no experience, but I do have my CPL. Theres several bail bonds companies nearby. In michigan, you dont need a license to practice, however, is there some certification class or course to get started? Before asking to get hired through a bonding company. I can invest in good skip tracing software. I also do not know anyone with experience

I don't know. I'd call the nearby bond companies and ask them. But if you intend to work for them ask to speak to the owner, its more impressive. If you plan to compete with them talk to the associates as if you were a potential client.
