  • Its not that big of a difference anyway. But if you were out shoveling gravel in the heat of the day its something to take into consideration. Most people in this part of the world have air conditioning when its hot out so it doesn't matter anyway. I was just saying black items absorb more light and therefore more heat from the sun and white things reflect more light so they are not as hot. (All other factors being equal, of course) All you have to do is go barefoot in the summer and try to cross a paved road to figure that out! That's why a lot of people wear white in the summer months. Its cooler. Of course natural fibers breathe better than synthetic ones in my opinion. Wearing polyester is like being wrapped in plastic! Or is that just me? Or some other weird hereditary trait?
