They looked at me funny when I was repairing my walls and a plumbing problem in the basement at the same time, at the house I had just moved into, and had to buy the following: hose clamps, trash bags, drop cloths, a surgical mask, rubber gloves, a hacksaw, air fresheners, boot covers, and a documentary film about Ted Bundy (I knew I would be tired at the end of the day and wanted to watch something).
