Why does even black short sleeved shirts make you feel hotter
When you wear a short sleeved black shirt your arms are still expose so therefore they shouldn't make you feel hot.

Anything black absorbs heat thus making it hotter. Darker colours absorb heat lighter colours reflect heat. White (the absence of colour) reflects the best being cooler.

Black attracts heat.hence winter coats are usially black. White tepels heat hence white is worn in summer. "Light energy can be converted into heat energy. A black object absorbs all wavelengths of light and converts them into heat, so the object gets warm. A white object reflects all wavelengths of light, so the light is not converted into heat and the temperature of the object does not increase noticeably."
