  • Good question, Brown Girl In The Ring, takes me back to my childhood and dancing with my friends. When I was young my mum and dad were friends with lot's of neighbours in the street, and we were friends with their sons and daughters, really happy times, I remember the street parties. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15nMlfogITw
  • Meh...none of them, really. I suppose Herb Alpert's "1980" makes me think of high school...for a split second. And some other songs of the period likewise...but never for more than a split second.
  • John Denver, "take me home, country road" does it for me. I always remember driving up the old logging road in my 1962 chevy Belair to the camp site I shared for the entire summer with some friends of mine.
  • Anything on Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" album. It takes me back to my time spent stationed in Berlin with the military. "It was the best of times; it was the worst of times." (That's a quote from "War and Peace" but it describes an 18-year-old's military experience quite well.)
