  • If you mean Moses' staff, it is only presumed the same staff was used by Aaron, Joshua, King David and his successors, until it was presumed lost following Nebuchadnezzar II's siege.

The staff was for Moses. This is an item EACH Israelite had with them.

It was their clothes and shoes/ sandals.... (Deuteronomy 29:5) ?While I kept guiding you for 40 years in the wilderness, your garments did not wear out on you and your sandals did not wear out on your feet.
    • Anoname
CORRECT pugwashjv. I used the words "wore out" as a hint. I remembered the shoes and that is what my question was asking for but I didn't remember it saying garments as well.

  • There genes. As the psalms say: They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them, but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs. They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them. They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood. They defiled themselves by what they did; by their deeds they prostituted themselves. Therefore the LORD was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance. He handed them over to the nations, and their foes ruled over them. Psalm 106:38-41

Another thoughtful answer, but no. That wasn't what I ment, either. Their genes and tendancies was with them much longer than the 40 years. These are objects each had in their possession almost daily.
