Which are you looking forward to more Mother's Day or Memorial Day?
For me Mother's Day is bittersweet I think about my mother on Mother's Day and she's no longer here. Memorial Day I look forward to but only because that's when the pool opens!

Neither. Since I retired, I realize that holidays are for young people to party!!! My Mom died in 2008 so Mother's Day kind of hurts. I don't enjoy traveling, so Memorial Day is just another day I don't want to go anywhere because the heavy traffic makes me uneasy. My dad died in 2011 so I'm not a fan of Father's Day either. So I'm kinda Bah Humbug this time of year!!!

Mothers day has been for me I did the yearly visit. We don't celebrate memorial day. I don't ever look forward to visiting my family and dread when they are comeing to visit me.
