  • Sorry about the description being a bit obscured. It reads: "Believe it or not, I have heard that two people on this site have been accused of being the same person (when I know for a fact they are not), and that was the only thing I saw in their postings that they have in common. I actually know more than 30 different people who have that particular song in their collection, and that's just the ones I have mentioned it to. How is that sufficient grounds to accuse two different people of being the same person when they are obviously not?"
  • You have answered your own question - then why ask it? People often just accuse people of whatever grounds or no grounds. so has nothing to do with "sufficient grounds". Who knows how many accounts people have on AB? They former owners used to allow people to have different accounts if they wanted to. I certainly don't even think about that.

I think the poster of this question is referring to a certain pervert who seems to have disappeared now. Apparently he accused me and another member of being the same person despite so many obvious differences between us, probably as a feeble excuse to cover up for himself after I had a go at him a few times for harassing me. I happened to mention that I liked a song that a friend of mine referred to in one of her questions and I think that pervert saw that and used it as an excuse to say we were the same person. The poster of this question (Nosmo King) was sticking up for us against that pervert, and I think that might be what this question is getting at.

Crazychick is spot on, officegirl. However, I feel compelled to ask you why you seem to be so casually unconcerned about false accusation instead of treating it like the out-and-out atrocity it really is. Unless I am very much mistaken I'm sure I've seen you posting something similar on here before. Well, I said this before and I'll say it again: FALSE ACCUSATION IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED AFTER 1970. Please don't cause me to keep repeating myself about this.

As for multiple accounts, there are usually clues in the profiles to tell whether two accounts are the same person or not. When I was on the older site I often used to look through various profiles to see if there were any clues. If I could do that, so could everyone else. I never did get it and I still don't get it what's stopping them, unless it is for sinister purposes such as false accusation. I guess that brings us round full circle.
  • The song you refer to wouldn't happen to be "Waterfalls" by TLC by any chance?
    • Nosmo King
Yes, it is. How did you guess? :)

That was my question, Nosmo. Crazychick answered it and said she liked the song. It is my favourite TLC song.
    • Crazychick
That's right, Nosmo. We both like that song. Don't you? :)
    • Nosmo King
Yes, it's a good song. From what I've heard of TLC I would agree it is their best song. It was their biggest seller, wasn't it? I think that says a lot about it. :)
