How do calories and sleep/not sleeping work?
I'm 21 and I've had an eating disorder since I was 17.. Although I'm better and I eat now, I've had this question since it started and I still wonder about it becasue I have bad insomnia. So It's currently 10am, I haven't slept yet. I'm thinking of just staying up until tonight to get my sleeping back on track but I always wondered something. So say you eat 1200 calories a day for a example and you didn't sleep that night and then it's the next day. Are you still able to eat another 1200 calories or is that considered overeating because It would technically be one long day? I hope this makes sense because I don't really know how else to word it. Basically I never sleep and I'm wondering if It's technically another day or would it be technically eating 2400 calories in one day? sorry this sounds more complicated than it does in my head ..
