What an excellent question !! Although I'd rather call these utensils than appliances because they don't require electricity - first my paring or peeling knife and then my big blade knives. If you're actually going to insist on a small electrical appliance, I'm going to have to say my toaster. : )

My automatic turn off water pot , love it .. sits by my bed so I can make a quicky cup of coffee first thing in the morning .. love that it turns off automatic

No. I use a small kitchen funnel to funnel my powdered vitamin mix into my water bottle. Its that or a rolled up piece of paper. lol
