This is my opinion: NO. I have a xbox 360 and its the greatest system ever... exept when they make the xbox 720 wich they've gotten a head start on:-). And i really dont think ps3 has DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT such as tv shows, movies, maps for games.etc soooooooooo, go get a 360 dude! get xbox live and we can be friends:-). You can't go by people who have an xbox 360 because they all believe that's the best system ever, I know my boyfriend is like that. But I prefer playstations and when he played ps3 he finally admited it wasnt so bad. I think it is worth buying but I think just about everywhere its about $500.

No. It has no games worth playing and is way overpriced. What do you get for $500? A system less powerful than what you'll get for $500 in a few months. Yes, the 80GB model is going to drop in price as soon as they sell all the 60GB's, but even that isn't worth $500....maybe when it hits $300. Don't buy a PS3 until at least late 2008...or you are paying to wait, cause it has no games worth playing. The XBOX 360 will be worth buying this year, but not until they fix the problems with the hardware and drop the price at least $100. If you can buy a $300 XBOX 360 with a hard drive for Christmas - get it. That's the best way to spend your gaming dollar this year...without question....the 360 launched first and is getting alot better exclusives than the competition. It has alot of games worth playing RIGHT NOW too.
