Guinea pigs show affection by either "purring" or pig like noices.. Sometimes they even oink! If your guinea pig lets you hold him, and pet him without him squirming, he deffenetly appreciates you! Hope this helped! - Selena =)

one of my guinea-pigs had eye problem and needed drops in her eye. the other guinea pig we had used to like to affectionately lick the eyes of her poorly companion. After the guinea pig with the bad eyes died, we bought another guinea pig to keep the surviving pig from feeling lonely. the first thing she does when we bring the new guinea pig home is to lick its eyes!!! very sweet.
