  • 2 years, and as I only go on AB at lunchtime I suppose I must say happy. You're on at 11am so you must be bored.
  • 17 years and i'm bored shitless. I start crying when I wake up in the morning and I don't stop till I get home. People on my delivery must think I've got hayfever all year round.

  • I've worked twenty years at my job and I dread going in every day
  • I've worked here for about 14 months. Sometimes I get bored, but I'm actually quite happy with the job. Any job has things you have to do which aren't fun or stimulating... I deal with that by trying to do my best each time with each task: i.e. give up bitching about the tedious things, and do them whole-heartedly. When I do that, they stop being tedious. Works every time.
  • I started in April. It is a good job (nursery guy, looking after the kids!) but the people that run the place couldent even pick there own nose for common sense! I was INSIDE looking after some small children today and had to run over 20m to get a plank of wood off of a kid that was carrying it around. This wood had 9 inch nails sticking out of it (quite a few of them too!) and the reason for this? The woman were too dam busy gossiping!!!
  • I have been on my current job for five and a half years and I love it, LOVE it, LOVE IT!! It is by far the most interesting thing I have ever done. I spent 28 years in a boring job, and my advice to anyone reading this, is if you are bored in your job, polish that resume and start looking for something that stimulates you. Life is too short and if you have to work anyway, why not make it something you really enjoy?
  • I have been working at my current job for 3 years, and I am bored out of my mind!!! Which explains why I am on AB in the middle of my work day...lol
  • I've got two jobs now. I've been helping out with something to do with math at my school for about 3.6 years now, as the years have passed I've tended more toward what I love most about it. I love that job and am happy with it, but it just doesn't pay the bills. My second jobs tend to last considerably shorter as I get bored and feel like I'm not making that much money for the amount of crap I put up with. Right now I've been at my current second job for about 2.4 months and am only slightly bored with it. I am happy with it most of the time as it is living up the the expectations I set for it. As a long term career I'd be unhappy with it completely. Working with my roommate makes it more fun. Next week I get to pick cherries or whatever it is they do there, so I should be making plenty of money. In general I'd like to make a little bit more money for a little bit more time and effort, being a student most jobs want me more than I can give, or less than I need.

  • Incredibly bored. You get tired of the same thing. You need something that stimulates your mind or makes you feel a sense of purpose.
  • 2Years. I'm content. If I had a raise, I'd be happier. But I guess until they stop pretending to pay me, I'll stop pretending to work :D

  • i've been working at my job for 3 years now and i love it, it's the only job i've ever had (im only 20, haha). but i think the people i work with is what makes it awesome, the job itself (customer service) is a bitch, i swear people's brains fall out as soon as they come into our store
  • A year and a half....very happy.
  • I have been at th same job for four and a half years so far. At times I am bored (when it is very slow and no one is out) but overall I am happy. I think the reason I still kind of enjoy what i do is because I have moved through several different departments so I haven't had a huge amount of time to get extremly bored. I do not want to spend the rest of my life there however =-)
  • I have been doing this exact same thing at two companies for the last four and a half years and I can't be anymore bored than what I am right now. As a matter of fact I am at work right now answering questions on the computer.
