It sounds like the instructions are to calculate 55*1*2*3*4*5*6*7 (i.e., the product of 55 and the first seven whole numbers). If so, the answer is 277,200. Edit: I stand corrected -- the whole numbers indeed begin with zero (making the product zero). It's the *natural* numbers that begin with one.

Product means multiplication. Whole numbers are 0,1,2,3... As anything multiplied by 0 is 0, the answer must be 0. It is possible that the definition of whole numbers you are supposed to use does not include 0, in which case the answer is: 1 x 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 x 6 x 7 x 55 = 277,200

If that calculation means multiplying 55 and the first seven whole numbers, then the answer is 0. The first whole number is 0, not 1. 55*0*1*2*3*4*5*6 = 0
