When we took out the rotting deck on the side of my house my mother replaced it with a "beach" it has actual sand, a little fountain and some plants and flowers around the edge. We have chairs set up their in the summer and tiki torches. There are a few other beachy touches like shells and a "Welcome to the beach" sign.

My house is the only one in the entire street that has the numeral six in its number. Oh yeah, and there's a private path from the back garden to the local pub.

Mines victorian and when we removed a old brick fire place we found the origanal fireplace tiles and they were beautiful,we are still working on it so you never know what we will find.

The fact that its on a steep hill and the structure looks like its about to give way :)

I have a pond in my back yard.

My deck is penis shaped.. I kid you not... the man I bought it from decorated his house from 70's playboys

My house is built on a desert ranch. On my backyard is just pure desert.

We have a pine tree growing through our fence, and in it are roses that bloom in the spring and summer. Only one? I have more!

It was featured in the 1998 Parade of Homes. There is a plaque on the inside of one of the cupboards in the kitchen that says this. LOL

The outside looks beat up and run down in a typical box type American decor, and the inside is beautiful immaculate and looks like the inside of an Asian palace.

its full of engine parts and constantly smells of burnt rubber.

It is cottage-style, it was built in 1930 and is very unique looking (unlike a lot of the "cookie-cutter" style houses in the area).

a tree fell through it. theres a huge blue tarp on top of the roof. its under construction (completely redesigned from a 1950s split level to a very modern look with contemporary architecture)
