Google, because it will be the stronger one and overpower Yahoo until no one even remembers that there was a Yahoo.

The two are barely comparable. Google has a cult following and continuously re-invents itself. Yahoo? - well yes... its just plain 'ol Yahoo. If they merge its because Google took Yahoo over, and I think Google would only do that to take out the competition. I don't think they would do this, partly because it would put 11,700 people out of work overnight. Stats for Yahoo (from wikipedia) Revenue $6.53 Billion USD (2006) Net income $734 million USD (2006) Employees 11,700 (Q1 2007) Stats for Google (from wikipedia) Revenue $10.604 Billion USD (2006) Net income $3.077 Billion USD (2006) [Thats billion with a 'B'] Employees 12,238 (March 31, 2007) The stats show pretty damn clearly that Google is the stronger company. By a lot. They might look at buying out Yahoo Music, or similar divisions of Yahoo - but Google will remain Google. No hybrid names - sorry.

If they merge, both companies would just share some of their software and tools, etc. If they did, one of them would have to buy part of the other company, and all of the tools would be in one place. It might be good.

Well, I'd say Yahgle, since it sounds cool... But realistically, Google would just absorb Yahoo into it, the company would remain Google : P Google is too awesome to be beaten by something like Yahoo : P
