  • Yes, but I would be careful, tell people where I was going and who with, meet in a public place, and take a mobile with me in case of problems. Have fun, but be careful :-)
  • well I would have to meet them in person and get to know them in "real" life first. (why not, their just people too, Heck I'm on the net. YOUR on the net) You just have to be careful and get to know them in person first. ( no i would not go on a blind date with someone on the net but a public meeting for a few times perhaps
  • I have been married thankfully for 21 years. If hubby were to pass away, I don't think I would date off the Internet. I have very strict qualifications for a potential marriage partner and there is too much room for fudging on the Internet.
  • Sure, why not? I know quite a few couples that met on the internet and are still together.
  • I suppose I would if I were in the dating scene.
  • ya It's fare to meet anybody whom you've not saw
  • Its the number one way people are meeting nowdays. just be careful to get to know them first by email and telephone. then meet them in a public place. drive your own car. then make up your mind. it can be fun and you can end up meeting some new friends. its not perfect. everyone is not honest. I have been dating a guy for a year that I met thru the internet.
  • I would not do it again just seeing how the internet is nowadays and what you hear on the news and tv. I ahve met a guy over the internet and I am in a strong relationship with him for over 4.5 years. Hes the best thing that happened to me. We did talk for a year and a half everyday for hours and online at night beofre we met each other. He then came to my home and met me with my family. Just becareful if you do. People are crazy out there, and most on the net are looking for sex. Good luck.
  • NO WAY!!! he could be a dirty old man or a 15 yr old posing as a 30 yr old or even worse an axe murderer!!!!! lol
  • I have and we are engaged! but met some unhinged ones along the way!
  • Yes. Ive had seven relationships through internet dating - no regrets
  • Sure ... I have a couple of good experiences with that
  • Sure, wouldn't have a problem.
  • Yes, and have, and we dated. It's a good way to meet someone.
  • Maybe, I would get to know them before I do anything.
  • no , i dont think so im kinda picky .. really picky haha they have to be absolutely amazing
  • I not only dated lots of women I met off the Internet, I married one of them. : ))
  • That kind of thing is not for me. I wouldn't want to mix two separate universes.
  • If I weren't already taken, sure. I think a woman would definitey have to be more careful than I would though.
  • I would and di, me and my mate has been together for close to a yea and a half. There are a lot of 'nuts' online, but there are decent ppl too. You just have to use very good and cautious judgment.
  • Yep... Did twice. Met first one around 1998 through an online rendevous site (enter profile and search through others') She contacted me. We IMed a while, called each other a while, then she started visiting me (I felt like I couldn't travel as easily.) My kids and I visited her family a couple of times, but mostly it was her visiting me. Lasted over a year. We knew we weren't really going any further. Met second around 2001 through AIM. She was looking for relatives around my town, and on a whim, contacted me. We IMed a while, called a while, then SHE visited me (after I broke up with 1st one). A few months later, she moved in. A couple of years later we were engaged, and we married in December, 2004. Been together ever since. If you feel safe, and believe each other, then you can do the above. If you are unsure, you can meet at a restaurant or coffee shop, and talk and go from there.
  • yepp...i'd wait until i was 18 but sure
  • No, I wouldn't. I like things like that, in person only...
  • Yep I would.
  • i guess
  • At this point, if she's got a heartbeat, I'd date her:)
  • Yes why not.
  • I have met with people after an internet introduction - good times
  • Yes, and I have. So have my friends. Two of my friends are now married to the guys they met on a dating site (one was match.com). Another is happily in a serious relationship with her guy (it was on eHarmony.com).
