  • That's a tough one. Eventually, it wears off and you begin to feel comfortable in your new surroundings and finally they feel like home. If it is homesickness that will be short lived, as in you haven't moved permanently, then you just need to do your best to enjoy where you are now and know it will come to an end. Sometimes calling home or writing can be helpful, but too much can make it worse.

  • Hum or sing a tune that brings fond memories of your hometown. Sometimes rolling with it can bring a liveliness to where you actually are.
