    I have a hummingbird with my trolling boat. you can just tie the sensor on a fishing pole and cast it out to those hidden areas. Its great for bank fishing or on boats. Its simple and weighs very little. its also one of the least expinsive. If you go to Bass Pro.com, you will find almost every price range with information about the unit. I've caught several 5 and 6 pound bass in those areas that other fishfinders could't reach.
