-
The Twilight Zone. A very good show.
-
Option paralysis. I like The Outer Limits just a little more than Twilight Zone.
-
I'm a bit too young for the Twilight Zone and the original Outer Limits, but I used to love the updated Outer Limits. The intro was excellent.
-
Loved them both. Then after those was Rod Serling's 'Night Gallery'. Fantastic!
-
The Twilight Zone.
-
I liked both, but I really prefer Doctor Who
-
I prefer the Twilight Zone, because of their creepy theme song.
-
Alfred Hitchcock Presents.....
-
I like both of them. Why do you call them old? In Germany they are still running. Old are Star Treck or Spaceship Orion.
-
Twilight zone is classic television. Night Gallery, however, really scared the crap out of me (I was very young when I saw it). Since the Zone was in B & W, it didn't seem as real. Outer Limits I never really got into. Good question.

mushroomSometimes, a shadow is enough to convey an action (The next to last scene in "It's a Good Life" in particular).

No contest Twilight Zone, way ahead of its time.

I liked the Twilight Zone.
-
Loved them both but I think I preferred the Twilight Zone.
-
I also liked Tales From The Darkside.
-
both, good in their own way.
-
No disrespect to the Twilight Zone, but Outer Limits controled the vertical; Outer Limits controled the horizontal... Wonderfully creepy.

"Twilight Zone" had consistantly good stories throughout the series where "The Outer Limits" had a lot of mediocre ones, with a few that rose to "Twilight" level and even beyond. There was also "Thriller" hosted by Boris Karloff and "Alfred Hitchcock" that occassionaly wandered into the realm of Sci-Fi/Fantasy with an excellent episode or two. Of the later anthology series, "Night Gallery", "Amazing Stories" and "Tales From the Crypt" all had their good and bad episodes. Hope this helps.
-
The Outer Limits. I didn't see the Twilight Zone until years later.
-
very good question. the correct answer is the zone, but there were many good limits.
-
Loved them both!

I'm trying to find an old short film which I think was either a Twilight or Outer in which the characters turned out to be dolls in a dolls house. It was really bizarre and the intensity rose like a pressure cooker as the film went on, with the audience wondering what was happening to these people as they began to notice a strange logo on everything in the house, and then the house seemed to have become enclosed with metal walls all around it,the temperature soared and in the end, all of this sticky goo came down the chimney... which turned out to be a melting lollipop left balancing on a chimney stack by the brother of the owner of the dolls house. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks all

Similar to Twilight Zone "Five Characters in Search of an Exit" but without the fire.

Twilight Zone. Rod Serling was the best SiFi writer in old TV. The stuff he didn't write, he picked great writer's material. The first 1/2 shows were better then the hour ones. +5
