My brand, I build it myself.
-
None, I built it myself from parts. I bought a case, a motherboard, a hard drive, a processor, memory, drives, peripherals, etc. and have upgraded it piecemeal.
-
My computer isn't a brand name - it's a clone with brand name parts. I have an MSI motherboard, Seagate hard drive, eVGA video card, a Cooler Master case and an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Of course - this is a desktop, not a laptop. Buying this way gives me much more control over what's inside. But it's a personal choice. There's nothing wrong with Dell or HP etc. for most people.

Right now I am using my wife's Laptop, an Acer 911AWSMi. At work I have an old Pentium III 933MHz. At home I have 3 custom-made pentium 4, which I made myself: a P4 at 1.7GHz, a P4 1.8GHz and a P4 2.8GHz. I am bit behind as far as computers are concerned.

Mine is a Bitsa. Bits of this and bits of that. Needs a bit of an overhaul too... but it's been good to go for 3 years! the good thing about knowing hardware is that you don't ever have to throw the baby out with the bathwater when something goes wrong, nor do you have to pay shocking technicians fees to sort things out.

Home Made. Remember that old Johnny Cash song, about the car made of many different models? We'll that's how this P.C. is made. I built it from scrap parts. The big shock of it all tho. Is that it works......LOL.......M.C.S.
-
It's a noname box I've built myself. But if you want a brand, it features an Intel DP35DP motherboard.
-
My brand was custom made by me (Byte Me Computers). I can build a PC that outperforms whatever you put it up against. Custom PC's are traditionally faster, more reliable and worth more at resale (generally). The pic looks like my case with the exception of the large blue center. I chose the center to be black as the rest of the case (mirror piano finish) the rest is all blue LEDs while the blue LEDs turn red when the hard drive is working. Lets see Compaq do that! :o) If it's stock, it's not finished!
