For me personally I would prefer to live in the city, but I wouldn't mind a beach house on the ocean just a an hour or 2 away from the city.

I like living in a busy city, but then I also enjoy the simple living in a remote village. So, i tend to flit between the 2 and get the most of both worlds.

A cabin in the woods on a lake with hot & cold running water, broadband access, and no more than 20 minutes from a high-paying Information Technology job.

Mine would have to be, living in the middle of the forest, electricity and indoor plumbing of course, but somewhere I could hunt and not worry about hurting anyone.

i have a suburban home and i'm quite happy with it. for me its much better than the options around here. with that said, my first choice would definitely be a beach house!

Mine would be living in Suburbia in a nice little nieghbourhood... close enough to the city that I can get there when I need or want to. Oh to have enough of a back yard for a tree or two and a barbeque, an upstairs and a downstairs, a garage...

Well, it's shaping up like the photo. We will be adding a porch and a deck next week and then we can finish the logs on the second story. But this is our house that my husband and I are building, slowly but surely. It's in the woods right next to a pond, practically a lake after the beavers rasied the dam...dam beavers!

Homeless and roaming in a small bus converted to using an alternative fuel source,such as the cars that use cooking oil.I could travel almost for free ,and get temporary jobs along the way.I seen this in old movies from the 1950's and it looked quite romantic.No heavy responsibilities,and a chance to travel and meet others.
