-
the boy entering the forbidden room with the lady in the tub
-
I personally like the one where jack goes into the ballroom and wishes he could have a drink. Then the bartender pops up out of nowhere. favorite quote: "We work here, we've always worked here"
-
This was the FIRST book I read way back when...the original movie was the best....my favorite scene is when Jack Nicholson breaks through the door with the hatchet and says: "HERE'S JOHNNY!" and the second would be the little boy saying REDRUM!
-
Many memorable scenes in that one, probably Jack chasing his son through the snow-covered labyrinth.
-
The scene with Jack and the waiter, Delbert Grady, in the men's room after Jack had a drink spilled on him. Everything's okay until Jack gets the waiter's name. You can see the wheels turning as he tries to find out more about this Mr. Grady. I love the set too - all of that red. Deliciously creepy!
-
Favourit Scene - When Jack Nicholson came chopping thru the door yelling in all his wild and winning ways with that fierce crazy look on his face - looking for Wendy yelling Here's Johnny! too scary and funny at the same time
-
Any scene with the twins.
-
The scene I like the best is the scen where jack goes to the bar and the ghosts come to him and he starts drinking he says give me a glass of the hair of the dog that bit me. that was a classic line don't you think? I did
-
When the little boy rides his big wheel in the hallway. Just the sound that it made was memorable.
-
"Here's Johnny!" {Edit - Added video]
-
I like the scene where he's got the ax and she's kind of backing up the big staircase~~creepy
-
I like the scene where she is on the stars and he says im not going to hurt you, im just going to smash your f*****g head in. the look jack nicholson had on his face scared the hell out of me.:-)+
-
Same as BigDaddyBS Here's Johnny!
-
Probably were the climax gets really strong and where evrything happens. (from where Danny sneeks into Wendys room and writes redrum on the door to where Jack dies)
-
The scene where Jack axes his way into the bathroom where a hysterical Wendy is cringing in terror! The part where he sticks his face through the door and says "Here's Johhny" is unforgettable(and unscripted), too!
-
The old lady in the bathtub. When he is in that room. Shiver.
-
The shower scene.
-
Heeeeeeereeeee's Johnny!
-
the scene with him handling the hatchet
-
Here's one of them!!
-
Where he keeps typing the same thing over and over, this is when she realizes he has lost it for sure!
-
The face through the door of course. That is as classic as the face on a clockwork orange album!
-
"Check out the SnowCat and the radio and you'll see what I mean. GO CHECK IT OUT!!!"
-
there are so many classic scenes... heeeeres johnny; all work & no play makes jack a dull boy; red rum, red rum; weve always been here. kubrick was bloody brilliant.
-
The blatently best scene; "here's johnny!" love it! its well tense when hes bashing his way into that bathroom. although the blood-filled corridor scene was good too.
-
I dunno if it's my favourite scene as such (more memorable i guess), but the quiet scene where the elevator door opens and this great wave of blood rushes out. It's just chilling - especially with the lack of music. I love how even the camera gets covered with the red blood, like everything in that moment drowns.
