Due to the way cat's inherit color, calico cats are all females. I'm not sure if it's impossible for a calico to be a male or just very unlikely. I have never heard of a male calico, personally. Also a blue cream is usually a female, too.

I actually have a male calico, but they are very very rare. They are worth a lot of money too, but I aint up for selling him.

A calico can be a male, but it's a rare occurence. A male calico is porduced when he inherits an extra chromosone (XXY), resulting in the human's equivalent of Klinefelter's syndrome.

Yes, except for a great rarity. We had a male tortoiseshell and he was sterile, like a mule

to my knowledge, I've always heard all calicos were female. if there are any males, it's extremely rare. one of our cats is a muted calico...female.

No No No Not at all! (sorry about that) I've read a lot of cat books, and non say that all cats are female. But some say that calico cats are mostly females. Don't belive me? Look it up.
