In the song "Do, Re, Mi," the lyrics for "La" are "La - a note to follow sol," and nothing really clever. What would've been a clever line for it?

'La, the feminine form of the word 'the' in French' - but that wouldn't have fitted in the song! ;-)

G'day KagumeShuko, Thank you for your question. The words have to rhyme with the final line "That brings you back to Do, oh-oh-oh" The best I can come up with is LA the place where starlets go. Rodgers and Hammerstein I'm not. :>) Regards
