• That's what the Bible says. In Christianity, yes - though we don't know how that all works out in the end. . .but yes, He is the only way to God.
• Jn:14:6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
• Yes. The bible says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by Me.
• Yes it is according to the bible. Jn 10:9 "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture." Ac 2:21 "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Ac 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Ac 15:11 "No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are." Ac 16:31 "They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household." Ro 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." These are just some of the verses that confirm this.
• Jesus is who some follow, but is not the only way to god,for there is as many ways as there is people.
• If you believe he is.
• Jesus is only one that rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven. For me, that is good enough. If Death could not hold Him – that is good enough for me. Yes, there were others, but their graves are known, Jesus’ tomb is empty. Is He the only way? Yes – but according to your own interpretation who Jesus is to YOU. He died FOR YOU. Interested in finding out and can’t figure out what is THE WAY to the Father that Jesus is talking about? People right close to him had the same problem: It’s actually very simple. Most governments called it civil laws, democracy, human rights, golden rule ? Jesus simply asked, do you love me? John 21:17-18 (NIV) 17The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." 18Jesus said, "Feed my sheep …” Many of us profess Jesus as our Lord and King, bur are engaged in the works of the devil, just the same, many of us do the works of Jesus, but never go to church or profess to even know Him. What really does it mean, “feed my sheep" anyway? Hmmm… I think we took this in kindergarten… The day will come, when these things will be revealed. At that time there will be those pleasantly astonished, that it was Jesus who they were serving unknowingly, and those in their utter horror who although did know of Him well, did not practice what He was preaching. Follow your heart, which is what Jesus majored on, not your head.
• According to my Christian beliefs, Yes He is the only way to God. How true is this? We will all know how true this answer is when He comes again. In His service, <:))))<>< "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
• 1) The Path Is the Goal 2) God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit It hence follows that: There are three paths: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• According to the Holy Bible he is... All other Religions I have study either have little or nothing to do with the Jewish - Christian God...
• Stands to reason that: 1 - no prophet/messenger of the Almighty you care to name was the way to God before his mission began. (For example, Abraham was not the way to God before God appointed him to show the way) 2 – all prophets and messengers of the Almighty were the only way to God from the time their missions began. 3 – each prophet/messenger of the Almighty ceased to be the way to God from the time God appointed a new prophet/messenger with a new/revised message.
• Yes. Jesus said in John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". -In the service of the Master. Thank you and God bless you!
• No, I took the Pacific highway, and turned off at Cairns, and there he was. (Waits for the fully expected downrating.)
• According to His own teachings, and those of His closest followers, yes.
• God is your in your faith.Hence who ever you have faith on is GOD.
• According to Jesus: yes. John 14:6 says "I am the Way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except by way of me." Pretty straightforward.
• This is the Christian section, and according to Christian doctrine/dogma, the answer is yes. The only way to Yahweh is through accepting the blood sacrifice of Yahweh's son, Jesus.
• Well, acctually, that kind of depends on which denomination of christianity you ask. But of course, most christians agree to that. Acctually, the 'fact' that Jesus is the only way to God is the Christian idea which have caused the most suffering in the world. The church has been utterly obsessed with proving their point by torturing and murdering for this. Also, it is not only Jesus that is the only way to God, but the Church is also the only way to Jesus. Which is one of those other nice ideas that has cause such a tremendous amount of suffering. But, to answer your question, yes, to most Christians.
• Cancon hit it in the head. Nice job, man. No one person will ever and has ever made it to heaven on the basis of themselves, only through the death of Christ who washed away our sins. Thus, he is the way the truth and the life, and thus no man comes to the Father but through Him. However, as Jesus himself said, to love him was to feed his sheep. The Bible hits upon this again when Jesus said that as you do to the least of these, you do unto Him. Clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, etc is to do unto Jesus himself. To love Jesus is to love others. No man who only loved himself will ever get to heaven. The man who loves others would also not get to heaven if it were not for Christ.
• "I am the Way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father, except by way of me."
• He is the only way. By that, it means He died for our sins. The ultimate sacrifice will lead us back to God. Our only salvation is faith in Him.
• "I am the way, the truth, and the life" was originally written in ancient Egyptian texts 1500 years BCE about the dying and resurecting godman Osiris and/or Horus. In my opinion, there is harmony in all things. Therefore, I will say no. Know thyself.
• Yes he's the only way, without him you can not go to the Father: John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. NIV John 14: 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. ASV
• That depends on who you ask. According to Jesus himself (Or whoever it was writing the part of the Bible with those quotes in it), yes. However, many different people have said and written many different views on the "Way to God", and of course, most of them preach that it's their way or the highway. So I've got to say no here, unless of course you're going purely by Christian teachings.
• Yes , Jesus comes in many different forms.
• 11:29 anti meridian; No, for it is i, the one true path to spiritual enlightenment, alice dee.
• JESUS IS GOD!!!! Dueternomy 6:4 here oh israel the lord our god is one. John 10:30 i and my father are one Matthew 23:9 and call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your father, which is in heaven. John 14:9 He that hath seen me hath seen the father (just a few)
• Hebrews 13:10-12 We have an altar-the cross where Christ was sacrificed-where those who continue to seek salvation by obeying Jewish laws can never be helped. Under the system of Jewish laws the high priestbrought the blood of the slain animals into the sanctuary as a sacrifice for sin, and then the bodies of the animals were burned outside the city. That is why Jesus suffered and died outside the city, where HIS BLOOD WASHED OUR SINS AWAY.... YEAST=Wrong Teaching Matthew15:5-13 12 Then at last they understood that by "yeast" he meant the WRONG TEACHING of the Pharisees and Sadducces.
• Since god doesn't exist then I'd you could look at it 2 ways: 1 - There is no way to a non-existent or imaginary destination. 2 - There are an infinite number of ways to reach an imaginary destination - all imaginary, of course. So, no matter how you slice it the answer is no. Jesus is not the only way.
• Jesus is the means of salvation for the whole world, Christian and otherwise. If any non-Christian gets to heaven (who cooperated with God's grace as best as he could given his limited knowledge of Christ and opportunity to accept/reject His message), then he will be there by the merits of Jesus' death and resurrection.
• For sure!!
• Peter Pam. Yes! But I think those who dont believe in Christianity see this as an arrogant statement. When we dont understand it--there is a tendancy base Christianity on human beings rather than the Spirit. God became one of us for a season to display his love and concern for the well-being of his creations. Basically saying this is the way to have a life like I intended.
• Him or the Yellow Brick Road.
• No. Just the way you are now, God is closer to you than your own heart or mind, thoughts or beliefs. God is the essence of all people and all creation, present in all circumstances, yearning to be expressed through you. God doesn't judge or condemn, much less for seeking Him through a given path.
• according to the Christian beliefs it is the only way. But I personally think there's many different paths/beliefs that can bring you to God. There's too many cultures/religions for me to believe there's only one way to God. Only my opinion though:)
• In the Bible, Jesus himself is reported to have said something of this kind: "6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."" Source and further information: "John 14:6-7 (New International Version)" http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John%2014:6-7&version=31 However, you don't have to believe what stay in the Bible.

• Jenny The Great ⭐
Let's use some logic: you have to go directly through the door/Jesus to get to the Father.
• Yes indeed. There is only one Shepherd, one Door and one Way to God. John 10:9 "I Am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture."
• The way to God is through your heart. Jesus can help open your heart. What keeps one from God are our thoughts, our Ego, and our attachments to the illusion that takes one away from God. No amount of scripture will give someone a direct experience of God. Get rid of the constant flow of thoughts in the mind and God will present you with a glorious revelation of the Truth within.
• Yep, Jesus Christ that is, not the gardener. :P
• Actually there are two ways to God. The easiest of course is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. The other way is actually next to impossible to obtain. You must follow every law (400 written and 600 verbal) absolutely to the letter. Failure in any one of the laws disallows you to the Lord God.
• 1 John Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
• No. You can also get to God on the S70 bus from Budapest-Nyugati station.
• Jesus and God do not exist, thus there is no actual way to them.
• In the gospel of John Chapter 14 v 6, Jesus said "I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. This means that through his ransom sacrifice, Jesus made it possible for mankind to come into reconciliation with God himself. Mankind are sinners thanks to Adam & Eve's rebellion. But Jesus Christ has paid back was Adam lost. However, until such time as this earth is cleansed of Satan & his wicked system of things, we are imperfect and can only approach Jehovah God through that ransom of Christ.
