First, let's define the quest as "how many humans have ever been born on Earth?" Please note that the figures on the websites were calculated anywhere from 5 to 8 years ago, so you'd have to add in the number of people who've been born since each website was posted.

Depends on what you consider human. But when I was a kid, they said that one out of every 10 people who ever lived was alive today. At the time, that was about 3-1/2 billion people. So figure ten times that, or 35 billion, doubled. I'd have to guess it to be about 70 billion. ----- Seems I was a mite conservative...
