Synthetic isomers, whether cisamino acids or trans-fatty acids, are not biologically active. Further, one of the amino acids, L-proline, was converted to its d-isomer, which is known to be neurotoxic (poisonous to the nervous system) and nephrotoxic (poisonous to the kidneys). It's bad enough that many babies are not nursed, but now they are given fake milk (baby formula) made even more toxic via microwaving." Microwaved Blood Kills Patient In 1991, there was a lawsuit in Oklahoma concerning the hospital use of a microwave oven to warm blood needed in a transfusion. The case involved a hip surgery patient who died from a simple blood transfusion. It seems the nurse had warmed the blood in a microwave oven. This tragedy makes it very apparent that there's much more to "heating" with microwaves than we've been led to believe. Blood for transfusions is routinely warmed, but not in microwave ovens. In the above case, the microwaving altered the blood and it killed the patient. It's very obvious that this form of microwave radiation "heating" does something to the substances it heats. It's also becoming quite apparent that people who process food in a microwave oven are also ingesting these "unknowns." Because the body is electrochemical in nature, any force that disrupts or changes human electrochemical events will affect the physiology of the body. Scientific Evidence and Facts A basic hypothesis of natural medicine states that the introduction into the human body of molecules and energies, to which it is not accustomed, is much more likely to cause harm than good. Microwaved food contains both molecules and energies not present in food cooked in the way humans have been cooking food since the discovery of fire. Microwave energy from the sun and other stars is direct current based. Artificially produced microwaves, including those in ovens, are produced from alternating current and force a billion or more polarity reversals per second in every food molecule they hit. Production of unnatural molecules is inevitable. Naturally occurring amino acids have been observed to undergo isomeric changes (changes in shape morphing) as well as transformation into toxic forms, under the impact of microwaves produced in ovens. One short-term study found significant and disturbing changes in the blood of individuals consuming microwaved milk and vegetables. Eight volunteers ate various combinations of the same foods cooked different ways. All foods that were processed through the microwave ovens caused changes in the blood of the volunteers. Hemoglobin levels decreased and overall white cell levels and cholesterol levels increased. Lymphocytes decreased. There is extensive scientific literature concerning the hazardous effects of direct microwave radiation on living systems. It is astonishing, therefore, to realize how little effort has been made to replace this detrimental technique of microwaves with technology more in accordance with nature. Technically produced microwaves are based on the principle of alternating current. Atoms, molecules, and cells hit by this hard electromagnetic radiation are forced to reverse polarity 1-100 billion times a second. There are no atoms, molecules or cells of any organic system able to withstand such a violent, destructive power for any extended period of time, not even in the low energy range of milliwatts. Of all the natural substances -- which are polar -- the oxygen of water molecules reacts most sensitively. This is how microwave cooking heat is generated -- friction from this violence in water molecules. Structures of molecules are torn apart, molecules are forcefully deformed, called structural isomerism, and thus become impaired in quality. This is contrary to conventional heating of food where heat transfers convectionally from without to within. Cooking by microwaves begins within the cells and molecules where water is present and where the energy is transformed into frictional heat. "In addition to the violent frictional heat effects, called thermic effects, there are also athermic effects which have hardly ever been taken into account. These athermic effects are not presently measurable, but they can also deform the structures of molecules and have qualitative consequences. For example, the weakening of cell membranes by microwaves is used in the field of gene altering technology. Because of the force involved, the cells are actually broken, thereby neutralizing the electrical potentials, the very life of the cells, between the outer and inner side of the cell membranes. Impaired cells become easy prey for viruses, fungi and other microorganisms. The natural repair mechanisms are suppressed and cells are forced to adapt to a state of energy emergency -- they switch from aerobic to anaerobic respiration. Instead of water and carbon dioxide, the cell poisons, hydrogen peroxide and carbon monoxide are produced." The same violent deformations that occur in our bodies, when we are directly exposed to radar or microwaves, also occur in the molecules of foods cooked in a microwave oven. This radiation results in the destruction and deformation of food molecules. Microwaving also creates new compounds, called radiolytic compounds, which are unknown fusions not found in nature. Radiolytic compounds are created by molecular decomposition -- decay -- as a direct result of radiation. Microwave oven manufacturers insist that microwaved and irradiated foods do not have any significantly higher radiolytic compounds than do broiled, baked or other conventionally cooked foods. The scientific clinical evidence has shown that this is simply not true. In America, neither universities nor the federal government have conducted any tests concerning the effects on our bodies from eating microwaved foods. They're more concerned with studies on what happens if the door on a microwave oven doesn't close properly. Once again, common sense tells us that their attention should be centered on what happens to the food cooked inside a microwave oven. Microwave Sickness is Discovered The Russians did research on thousands of workers who had been exposed to microwaves during the development of radar in the 1950's. Their research showed health problems so serious that the Russians set strict limits of 10 microwatts exposure for workers and one microwatt for civilians. Microwaving prepared meats sufficiently to insure sanitary ingestion caused formation of d-Nitrosodienthanolamines, a well-known carcinogen. Microwaving milk and cereal grains converted some of their amino acids into carcinogens. Thawing frozen fruits converted their glucoside and galactoside containing fractions into carcinogenic substances. Extremely short exposure of raw, cooked or frozen vegetables converted their plant alkaloids into carcinogens. Carcinogenic free radicals were formed in microwaved plants, especially root vegetables. Decrease in Nutritional Value Russian researchers also reported a marked acceleration of structural degradation leading to a decreased food value of 60 to 90% in all foods tested. Among the changes observed were: Decreased bio-availability of vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin E, essential minerals and lipotropic factors in all food tested.   • The Hz. used in microwave ovens is tuned to the spin up of H electrons in the way of the field,the spin of which is then translated into bond length vibration that is seen as heat... if you spin them fast enfough you may snap or translate the bond. my guess is that defrost cycles are less likely to chemicaly change the target; much like a stove on low will heat and when set to hi will scald milk

  • I see that many are skeptical of the warnings regarding the dangers of microwave radiation and its effects on foods and our bodies. I personally feel that much of this skepticism results from 1) the fact that we have been using microwave ovens for many years, being told they are safe. 2) many of us assume that if a product is sold in stores, it must be safe 3) We assume that because we have have not heard widespread reports of danger from this product, and most people think it is safe, then it must be...ie the people reporting the danger are nuts 4) Those who are passing on the warnings second hand are not posting the entire article, and we fail to look into it further, searching out the original sources of what we are being told...thereby assuming what we are reading comes from unsubstantiated claims rather than real research 5)Based on all the previous assumptions and reactions, we assume that the increase in cancer, infertility, nervous system disorders (such as restless leg syndrome) and other maladies are simply the result of direct exposure to harmful chemicals, age etc., or maybe we just think it is normal for so many people to get sick in our country,. ie it is random & we don't really think about what could be causing it I read the original article..though I have not yet researched the scientific publications mentioned ie the Russian & German research etc. Though it has been stated that the blood warmed in the microwave which cased the death of the hip-replacement patient did so because the blood was too warm, it seems from the article and research that this may have been the "assumed" cause, not necessarily the true cause. The fact that research has apparently shown that there are definite changes to blood which has been microwaved, besides the obvious heat change, gives me pause. It may be that Microwave ovens are not the only source of the increasing health problems in the United States, but when we consider all the sources of radiation to which we are exposed, combined with all of the chemicals& drugs in our food & water sources, we might want to give more attention to this subject. We are exposed to chemicals and drugs used in the production of our food, and even it the treatment of our water- Some chemicals and drugs have been found in our water supplies which cannot be filtered out, others are added intentionally to 'sanitize' the water Flouride is added to the water in many places, though I am not quite sure why this is done, since we are specifically told not to swallow fluoride toothpastes...Fluoride has been shown to damage bones when it is ingested. Yet it is intentionally put into the water we drink & cook with, and bathe in. Chlorine might be ok in small amounts, but we drink it and bathe in it on a regular basis. I can't imagine that unnatural exposure like that is good for us. Chemicals and drugs are getting into the waste systems , rivers etc. (from urine) and have been shown to adversely affect the reproductive health of the creatures exposed such as fish and frogs.) We add chemicals, drugs and hormones,(or hormone mimicking chemicals/preservatives etc) to our food & water sources, to the personal products we use every day (shampoos, deodorants, lotions, balms, perfumes, etc) and are further exposed to them through many other areas (bug sprays, cleaners,car exhaust etc), We use prescription & over the counter drugs,which are known to have possible adverse effects, often more harmful than the symptoms we are attempting to treat. On Top of all of this - many products & technologies which bombard us with invisible waves of different types of radiation from many sources. I can't help but wonder what we are doing to ourselves with all of this stuff. Most of the Technology we use on a regular basis has all come about in the past 50-60 years. I believe we are reaping the results of all that technology right now...and I don't mean that in the positive sense. The health of United States citizens has not gotten better, but worse, at least in the area of cancer and reproductive problems, and I have no doubt many other health issues we have today have increased during the past 50-60 years as well. Infertility & cancer are two that have definitely increased in since at least the 1970's, around the same time as the large scale production and distribution of microwaves. I have to wonder...we all consider that if our country was nuked, it would be so radioactive (ie exposed to radio waves which alter it in some way, making it dangerous to our health), that food and water would be dangerous, and our bodies could have all kinds of mutations and problems associated with that radiation. Why then, do we not seriously consider the fact that if food & water exposed to radiation from a nuclear bomb would be dangerous to us, that putting radioactive energy in a box & purposely exposing our food & water to that radiation would be any safer? X-Rays are very helpful in exposing broken bones & fractures, but are known to have the potential for reproductive harm - which is why women are covered with a protective shield when x-rayed. This is a form of radiation, known to have the potential to cause cancers & harm cells. What in God's name are we thinking? Why do we allow ourselves to be exposed to radiation simply because it is put in a little box and 'sealed'? Is that food & water we 'nuke' really safe? I personally would prefer to err on the side of caution, and will be looking into this much more thoroughly. I urge those who read this warning regarding microwaves to look deeper, rather than to make assumptions that all is well because no one in the government has come forward to tell us different. I believe there is a lot more at stake economically from the government's perspective, - much of our economy is based on radio wave and microwave technology. Is it possible they are more concerned that our economy would be destroyed than they are about our health? Think about it. Our own government did experiments on pregnant women (without their knowledge), experiments that could harm them & their babies - I am sure they had the 'greater good' in mind. These Scientists are less biased,I think, unless they are benefiting from the product sales or technology either directly or indirectly. A Scientist mentioned in the article was fired, and had a gag order placed on him, according to the article, because he exposed these dangers. The gag order was later removed in court, & the government of Switzerland shown to have violated this mans right to free speech...he had been also charged with 'obstructing commerce' - the Economy factor again. Money/Profit or gain of some other kind is often the reason why people are allowed to come to harm, or noble sounding ideas such as it being for the 'greater good' Should we ignore the possibility that these things are really true? Should we shrug & laugh it off and go about business as usual because we don't want to believe it is true? Should we automatically assume that those who promote these ideas are nuts or whackos?
