Well, personally, I don't have a lop, but I know rabbits like to play and chew on random things they find. I use to put old towels and rags in her cage to sleep on or play with. She soon figured out eating them was more fun and developed a serious back up in her digestive system. We had to pay 100's of dollars for shots and special medicine to disolve the strings and keep her from dehydrating from lack of water. I don't think it matters why they play or chew on anything in your house, just make sure it's nothing that will make them get sick!! Maybe buying a special chew toy for your lop will insure less play time with your personal items and also keep it happy and healthy! ^_^
