  • Manufacturers use a bewildering variety of charging systems to force customers to buy only branded equipment. This has caused so much trash that governments have threatened legislation against the practice, so they have switched to USB charging connections. So the first concern is what exact connection you have. If it is a USB connection, you are in luck: you can use any 12 volt battery with a USB converter. Other than that, no.

  • yeah companies usually create their own charging cords so you cant use another companies to charge your device you have to use theirs, an example of that is the evolution of the iphone charging cords, they were once like an inch long in width and now they are much smaller and only compatible with newer devices. if you need more options or a more adaptable charging system id look into external storage devices like on the go chargers that can be hooked up to a usb or something that can be adapted to charge multiple types of devices.
