Hm... 7-8? That sounds a bit cocky, to me, though. I hate answering questions like this :-p
-
6, maybe. I've been told that my voice is like that of an angel before by some guy, but I've also been told it sucks... round-aboutly...
-
-1 just slightly worse than William Hung
-
I have to be honest and give myself a three. Even though my parents would be pushing into the negatives, I have proven to be a somewhat impressive Soprano
-
5----good enough for the lullaby that puts the baby to sleep
-
0 = Cat being swung around by its tail.
-
I'm a 9... Good enough to do this for a living... but I'm no choirboy anymore...
-
2 =/
-
10 a few years back, now just 8.
-
I think it depends on what you want out of your voice. I cant do opra, but i get by singing rock n roll sort of songs. So i'd say 5...
-
when noone else hears me 10 when others are in the room 0
-
I think I'm at least a five when I'm not trying and a 2 when I AM trying... I know it's backwards.
-
10&-3= i believe its the most beautiful voice ever but everyone else things its just the opposite!
-
I'd say one to answer your question. Really though I'd be a -0. I sound like a dying animal... :( I always wished I could sing. My baby even lets me know I need to shut up and quit singing. Oh well, I tried.
-
By my standards a 6 but no one else agrees.
-
Ignoring the voice of self-hatred in the back of my head constantly heralding "YYYOOOOOOOOOUUUUU SSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCKKK," I have to think outside my usual pessimistic, harshly self-critiquing box and look at what everyone else says. Needless to say, low self-esteem makes it difficult as hell to judge myself. In perfect honesty, I'm probably a 10. People have cried when I sang at performances--this being a good thing ;)--and everyone says they "get goosebumps" when I sing. I have been credited as being a "really, really good singer," having a "really good voice," or a "beautiful voice"--depending on which age group you talk to. I have a very strong, wide range. I sing opera, classical, Broadway/musical-type music, but I also sing rock and just about anything else I feel like. I'm probably the only person who could say, "I'm going to try out for American Idol next summer" and be taken seriously. In response to that, I've gotten many "I'd definitely vote for you"s, some "you could definitely win that thing"s, and one "you don't even freaking NEED American Idol; you can do it on your own." Yeah. I'll say 10. Even though the evil-demon voice in my head is screaming at me for being stuck-up... -_-; *whacks it upside head with frying pan*
-
3 lol
-
im about a 6.
-
5 maybe?
-
1 for me.
-
maybe 4, but in the car by myself I'm a 9
-
When I'm sober, maybe a five or six. When I'm drunk, I'm an 11.
-
I will be honest here, I am terrible, so I will give myself a -3. It is really bad believe me.
-
1
-
I think I'm about an 8 or 9, but I only play guitar about a 5.
-
as my ability to sing i'd give myself somewhere around an 8. the timbre of my voice... 6ish.
-
I would rate myself at a 9, and I'm being honest. I normally do not like complimenting myself in that area, but I have touched alot of people through my singing. I sing primarily Gospel music. When I was young My family sang, and my dad taught us harmony and he had me lead songs as well. My dad loves the blues to, so we would sing the blues to and it was fun. My mom has a really nice voice to, infact her voice sounds black.
-
i would have to say about 7-8
-
-1 =Someone playing an out of tune viola with a cat.
-
3.1415927, not horrid but not good either. But unique!
-
Not to be conceited, but I would give myself an 8!
-
-10 firecracker stuffed in ear....
-
Honestly? I bring shame to my Irish heratige on this one. I'm a negative ten. My own sons put their hands over my mouth and say "That's okay, mommy, I don't need a lallalbye." I've been told Icouldn't carry a tune in a bucket with a lid. But I stll love to do it.
-
8. Oh, did I mention: I sang with Linda Ronstadt last week. I did. Really. Live. On stage. I'm not kidding. and about 1 1/2 weeks before that, with Tierney Sutton, Billy Porter, accompanied by the Alan Broadbent Trio. I did. yuppers!
-
I would probably rate myself a 8 probably. I can figure out harmonies and stuff sometimes and I have almost perfect pitch. I hate saying good things about me, it makes it feel like im boasting or something. I personally don't like to sing, but I can do it pretty well.
-
2 = A flatulent duck.
-
I'm not sure, honestly; when I sing, people shiver and get goosebumps and cry and stuff, and this is not at church. Makes me think, "Wow. I was that bad?" lol
-
-2, you would want industrial ear defenders
-
Which one is most equivalent to someone who would rather have rusty ice picks stabbed in their ears?
-
clear off the minus scale -- way worse than fingernails on the chalk board!! I don't even sing in the car with the windows rolled up because I sound that terrible to my own self!!
-
6 or 7 depending upon the style and what key it's in.
-
people's ears bleed when I sing.
-
10. Pope John Paul II told me that I had the voice of an angel, when I sang solo at the Vatican. I also have a decent professional singing business, when my lung problems aren't acting up. I have perfect pitch, and am only a senior recital short of a Masters in Vocal Performance from The Eastman School of Music. Someday I'm gonna finish, I just know it!
-
0.5 I have a singing voice of a toad.
-
is there an option way below the fingernails on a chalkboard one lol
-
ahh dunno. im say about 7? My 12 yr old sis :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88TYx3xH7QU dunno lol
-
6 - 9, maybe?
-
7. good enough for my band. :)
-
A 10 oh yeah.La LA LA Dor RE MI Fi So LA Ti do.Is it good or what.
-
I would say about a 9... I have been singing since I was little... I was in choir in kindergarten until I graduated highschool... I love singing...
-
-100 :) I have perfect pitch but an appalling set of vocal chords when it comes to pitching notes. So it is worse than just singing out of tune - I am FULLY aware I am out of tune but it is like playing a 'cello where the strings are constantly detuning themselves! :)
-
No, see my singing is so bad that it's not even described by numbers. My singing ability is B.
-
Below 0; Bullmoose giving birth!
-
I rated the opera singer a 10 but busted her down to a 7 when she shattered all my Bud lights.
-
8 but Leonard Cohen Baritone-Bass, useless in most rock situations.
-
9- some people says i have a nice voice
-
8, Not to bad, but not up there with the angels. :p
-
Maybe a four? Though it's hard. When I hear myself sing I get embarassed and I feel really weird inside. I'd kill to be a soprano. Darn you, Tarja Turunen.
-
8 I'm not bad, but I'm not superb either.
-
If I sang more often, I'd give me a 9, but I'll take a 7 for now... use it or lose it.
-
I would say an 8 on a good day... I have enjoyed music and singing since elementary school.
-
8. I love to sing in church!
-
5- in the middle of the road.
-
2 = A frog croaking.
-
i think it is 3-4 enough to enjoy in a good mood.......
-
I think I'm at about a 7 right now. I didn't get any vocal lessons yet and I hope to bump it up to at least a 9.5 with lessons.
-
I'd say 7.8, both of my sisters are opera singers..it runs in the family, I just decided to take flute lessons instead of singing lessons..if i took them it would be a 9.5
-
I would say a 1 lol...i really suck bad at singing
-
I'd say about a 4 -- I tell people I sound like a calf dieing in a hail storm when I sing. Of course, working around professional entertainers does not help.
-
about -3. not that it stops me singing on a regular basis. kinda sounds like fozzie bear with larengitis (sorry about the spelling)
-
6, but that doesn't stop me :)
-
a good solid 6. i can carry a tune, but theres definitely many, many, many people better.
-
I'd say "5", I'm not bad, but I'm not American Idol material either.
-
I would say my voice is a 9 and my range is a 6 or 7. 8 on a good day.
-
a solid 7.
-
eh 5 or 6.. i've been told that if i get training i could be really good but i guess i've just never gotten to it lol
-
You tell me. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=777372 http://www.ourstage.com/myprofile http://www.myspace.com/texassouthernblues
-
I would give myself an 8.5..i have a distinctive voice but my career has been helped along by the fact that im a very good stage performer
-
I'd rate myself as a 6- my friends tell me I have an amazing talent, but I think I sound more like a cat being swung around on a ceiling fan. I really don't think that's much of a talent.
-
2 i am crap lol
-
I used to be a 9. I would put myself at a 7 now. You lose it if you don't use it.
-
I was asked by my Youth Choir Director at church to just mouth the words. I'd say a 1.
-
10 = voice of an angel :-)
-
2 = strangled cat
-
If 5 is average and can hold a tune, read music and knows music meter I'd say that sounds about right for me.
-
about a 9 .
-
About a 5. I only sing in the shower and in the car.
-
I'd probably give myself a 7. Good enough for public performance, but only in groups, and not nearly good enough to turn pro.
-
bout 5 i song along at gigs and to the radio all the time
-
... some where between a 6 and a 7 ... a little bit good, but still far from great ...
-
An 8, I think I have a sweet voice, and I am currently taking voice lessons. Also, I have had people tell me I have a sweet voice.
-
6= not terrible, not beautiful either. Still useable
-
Probably a 5 the kind of voice that says you could actually sing if you had some lessons but iv`e gone completely off music so there wouldn`t be alot of point i think everyone has something in them
-
I've been told I am very good, but humility is important, so I'll say 7 or 8. (They do ask me to keep singing solos, so there must be some agreement that I'm good ...)
-
1- Absolutely horrendous xD
-
7
-
4
-
Depends. It flucuates depending on the song. I can sing amazing grace at a 6... and country music (which I hate but can sing) at a 5... But then other songs are a 3... I have pitch problems and can't really spread my voice.
-
3-4 I think :/
-
Maybe a seven... Eight on a good day. lol
