  • I don't think there is one, with parental consent. I know of a female infant who had pierced ears. Her mother wanted it done by a doctor (it was), because she claimed that by the time the child was a teenager, her ears would have already been pierced, so she could wear "non-post" earrings immediately. Many of her friends and relatives applauded her idea, and her own daughter, when she became a teenager, told her mother that she was grateful for it having been done when she was too young to remember it. +5
