gift card, that way if i dont see something i like in the store i can wait for them to restock the shelves without worrying about accidentally spending the money somewhere else...does that make sense?

Giftcard I think. That way I have to spend it at a specific place rather than frittering away cash on this, that and the other. Before you know it, the cash is gone on everyday expenses, and you're back where you started. With a gift card, you're more likely to end up with buying something you really want, instead of paying off a bill.

I'd rather have the cash. Giftcards are nice, but there are so many limitations on them. Besides, I'd rather you gave me daggers, swords, axes, throwing stars, etc. I'm easy to shop for - plus I can use them when I practice.
