I like first edition hardbacks for my shelves at home, but they SUCK for stuffing in your carry-on.

I prefer hardbacks but they're too expensive. I can barely pay my bills, I'm not spending $30 on a book.

I like hardback if i'm collecting a series softback for casual reading. Nothing like a 2 ton hardback book as you drift off to sleep at night Lol! +5

For me, paperbacks. They're easier to read in bed, lighter to carry and somehow more friendly, in my opinion.

I love a hardback, but paperbacks are more economical and practical to read. I will only really buy hardbacks if there is a book I don't want to wait to be released on to paperback.
