I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and we've already had snow this month. It's gone now, but it'll be back before Halloween.

I live in Calgary, Alberta. We had a whole week of snow already. It has melted and it's seasonal weather for the time being but that could change any minute. hahaha literally!

North Dakota had their first snow a couple of weeks ago. Here in California, the weather's fine. I was without a sweater today, although we had a storm last week. In October the weather just gets chillier and towards the end, it gets rainy. :)

Yes, usually we get a little bit in October. Sometimes it's quite a bit. Six years ago we had some on the 1st of Oct.

No, where I live (Australia) I'm more liable to get a bushfire. I've never had snow anywhere close to where I am, and late October would be even more shocking. I doubt I'd believe it.

Where I live in Eastern Washington the average October snowfall is about one inch, but we are never average.

No. It is in the mid 70's at the moment and will most likely stay there until at least Decamber.
