We waited 9 months. We were engaged in January and married in September. I previously told her I would not get engaged until I was ready to get married. At that point I didn't want to wait a few years for the ceremony. We could be spending that time as husband and wife and building our new life together.

4 months. Would've been 2 but some stuff came up.

We got married as soon as possible. I don't remember exactly how long it took.
