Tenzin Gyatso is the 14th and current Dalai Lama. However, it's considered that each Dalai Lama is a reincarnation of the previous, which, if it's something you believe, means that there is only ever one Dalai Lama. I wouldn't normally recommend Wikipedia as a source but I read about this a while ago and the information on it was quite well sourced in itself if you're looking for more information.
