I had a cadburys creme egg the other day. It was enjoyable, but i remember them being twice as big back in the 80's. (or was I smaller? hmmmm)

Yes, I have eaten quail eggs, duck eggs, pigeon eggs...but in Indonesian food they are all spiced, so they are not greatly distinguishable. Yes, I enjoyed them. Duck eggs are not used a lot for eating, even in Indonesia, but for cooking with.

Years ago, a neighbor kept ducks, and used to give us duck eggs on occasion. I have eaten them, and found them to be very similar to chicken eggs. I have also eaten caviar, which is fish eggs.

Duck is strong tasting but great for cooking and baking. Geese eggs are not much different than chicken eggs only bigger. Ostrich was very strong tasting but good. Made 2 omelets. TOo big to use on a regular basis. Quail eggs were very nice but better when pickled. Pheasant and peafowl eggs, okay, a bit like duck eggs. Better used in cooking, not for breakfast.

fish eggs when I was a young 'un! they were plastered all over the outside of a sushi roll. They exploded between my teeth -- an interesting sensation to be sure.
