Is it back luck to wear a diamond ring on your wedding finger even though your not married and even though your not looking, or is it just if you are wanting to get married that its bad luck?

Luck has nothing to do with it. If you want to wear a ring on any finger, do so. You realize that in the USA when a woman wears a diamond ring on the 4th finger of her left hand she is considered committed to someone. But if you find a man in whom you're interested, you can easily explain the ring.
