Not at all. I made it this far without one for most of my lifetime. Don't have one now either because it makes me hard to find. ;)
-
Yes but mainly for internet access,I hardly ever talk on the phone!!
-
I have one but many times I let the battery run down and forget to recharge it, sometimes for days, so I guess I really don't have to have one.
-
Yes.
-
yes. When I am on call I must have access to a phone at all time or either stay home and sit by the phone all the time. Other than for work and in case of an emergency no.
-
Just because I drive alot, so for roadside emergencies, thats it. I have never given anyone my cell number, girls, work, no one. I hate the idea that someone has no respect that I'm not at home so they have to track me down by calling my cell. I'm not an antennae I have far too much dignity to be treated as one.
-
well before i have a cell phone.. i didnt beleive that im so in need.. as i have home and office phone.. but once i get one cell phone on my own.. i cant belive that i cant live a second without that hahahha..
-
Nope. I have one that I turn on sometimes when I'm out. I don't depend on it at all. It's just for my convenience. I hate talking on it and don't get all of the other stuff people need to be doing all of the time -- texting as they walk into manholes. I do my chatting on the good voice quality land line at home and in the office.
-
No~my wife and I are retired and see no need for one as we are *HOMEBODIES No boss~~No Mortgage~~~no worries~~no paycheck
-
nope
-
I don't even own one, but I plan on having one by the end of next month. It'll be off most of the time. I only used cell phones for point to point communication, not for "So what'cha doin'?" conversations.
-
Yes
-
Yep. I could easily live without one, but I'd rather have one handy, for safety reasons. I've saved a life with a mobile phone, if I hadn't had it, my grandmother would have died. I wouldn't give mine up for anything.
-
i survived for eight months without one. could live without it but it got mightly uncomfortable and horribly inconvenient at times.
-
No, but there are a lot of things I don't actually need and still enjoy.
-
Not at all. Many times I have considered canceling my phone service.
-
nope, its simply a NEED vs. WANT thing, and i don't need it....i take it only if i am away from home just in case...:)
-
Oh yes! I would be lost without it!
-
NOPE ! I've managed for 60 years without one , ran several businesses, did law enforcemnt etc ... NEVER "HAD" to have a cell phone .... I have an answering machine that will take a message if I am out when someone calls . IF I feel like calling them back; I do .... I don't need a cell phone so folks can track me down every minute of the day ... +5
-
I do. But I rarely use it.
-
Two reason: Yes, cause if you get lost in some place.... then you better call someone, or if there's this leech who wants to rape you. No, because it makes you have to pay more money and people kept on asking "What's your cell phone number?!"
-
yes i really do. +5
-
Yup, it's my dads lifeline. We live out in BFE and the emergency services out here can't find us. I had to rush him to the hospital last year and called his doc on the way there or if I'm out he's got a way to get ahold of me
-
yes, its an economy phone. it helps to stay in touch and keep friendships warm.
-
No, mines been switched off for about two weeks now.
-
Who doesnen't?
-
pretty much... i don't know what i did when i didnt have one... it perplexes me...
-
No.
-
I carry one with me most of the time, and find that it does come in quite handy (particularly because pay phones are freaking scarce these days), but it's not something that I use for normal communication. For that, I prefer landlines, but that could be because reception where I live is spotty at best.
-
Yes I do since I no longer have a land line. It is great. I no longer receive calls from telemarketers and I don't have to stay home when I am waiting for a call. I would never go back to a land line again.
-
No~when my wife and I retired we stopped using cell phones~~
-
I use them to keep up with my online friends.
-
No, but it's convenient. I keep it turned off most of the time. +2
