I'm answering this a week after St Patrick's Day. I WAS wearing a green coat. Thing is, I was on an early morning train to Chicago (of all places) before I realized it was St. Patty's Day. My first thought was Oh no, prepare yourself to either be A. puked on or B. fallen on. It was B but I had a wonderful day.

No. I have no personal ties to Ireland other than one trip to Dublin. I'll be wearing, let's see, red button down shirt, khaki pants, black socks, black boots, (I'm picking it out as I type), red tshirt under the button down, and seeing as it's another rainy day, I'll be wearing my favorite big thick black sweater (which I actually got in Ireland about 13 years ago) and my black trench coat. Sorry, no green.

I got up late this morning so I could wear my green dress shirt. So I wore a Gumby necktie (I have over 125 ties!) Not enough time to iron a shirt. By the time my two o' clock class came, the air conditioner conked out in my classroom and my sleeves were rolled up and the tie was off.
